CH system in a bungalow

by garyjoehughes » Sun Feb 21, 2010 11:45 am

Hi

Ive go a 2 bed bungalow, Im looking to put a CH system in this summer and am just wondering if i use a combi boiler system if its ok to run the main flow and return pipes up in the loft dropping down to the rads in each room or would pressure be an issue on the return pipe going back up into the loft, in which case i would need to chase all the pipe work into the concrete floors
Hope that makes sense :)

Many Thanks

That'll be fine, very common to have radiator pipework dropping from loft space.

Remember to lag/insulate the pipes in the loft space.

Sorry no-one has replied sooner - don't know how/why it's been missed.
