Cleaning Water Stains off of Shower Glass

Post by SwaleSwimmer » Mon Oct 10, 2016 12:24 pm

Hello All, I have been trying for some time to clean water stains off the shower glass in our home. We have softened water but nevertheless there are water stains on the glass. I have tried using descalers, both liquid and gel types. Tried white vinegar and different retail cleaners but nothing clears the stains completely.

Surely there must be lotion or potion to clean the glass. Thanks in advance for any advice.

You could try using elbow grease, and I know this sounds stupid, but some people have got results using toothpaste. You apply the elbow grease on the sponge and the toothpaste on a soft cloth.

It is very strange that vinegar did not help... Acids must dissolve hard water salts. This is the basis of the work of all cleaning products. Try to find the most concentrated acid and apply it for a few minutes, if this does not help - it is unlikely that something will help.

P.S. Remember about safety!
