cold water tank not filling

by kazzells » Thu Dec 02, 2010 3:56 pm

Our cold water tank is not filling up, we have mains water coming into the house, and all the taps are working apart from one cold water tap, the pressure in the cold water taps upstairs is poor. All the hot water taps are fine.

When you say 'cold water tank' I presume you are talking about the header tank, normally in the loft but sometimes above the hot water cylinder.

If the tank is empty or not filling when you use the water it is likely to be a sticky/dodgy ball valve.
