Combi Boiler - firing up every few seconds

by Toe » Sat Dec 27, 2008 12:11 pm

Our boiler fires up every few seconds, goes off, fires up etc. Heating isn't working in sync with the timer - and have to actually turn the boiler off to stop the house from baking. Heating still comes on when dial set to 'hot water only'. Heating still comes on when thermostat turned right down.??????????????

Thanks for reply Steve.

Your first sentence is enough for me to ring the engineer! and leave it to the experts.
