Combi boiler for a bungalow

Post by heps » Thu Feb 26, 2009 8:44 pm

Had a plumber out to work out a price for an oil combi boiler for a 3/4 bed bungalow and he seemed to think that a combi boiler was not a good idea in a bungalow any thoughts on this ??

It doesn't really matter how many rooms you have - combi boilers come in different sizes for larger houses etc. The main concern would be the hot water demand, if you have more than one bathroom, where it's likely you may want to use 2 taps or a mixer shower and run a bath at the same time - then a combi wont be suitable.

If you only have one bathroom then they're ideal.
