So I need to sort a drainage solution for the rear of my house - currently water runs to a water butt which just overflows in heavy rain... however there is a problem - a large concrete slab next to the brick wall of my house which has a slope to it running the length of the wall.. I would like to remove it so I can dig some sort of soakaway but am concerned it supports the wall which does not look in great shape at the base.. what does everyone recommend?
