Hi, so we moved into a new build some 2 years ago and the heating system remains something of a dark art. we have a gas boiler downstairs and a water tank upstairs as part of what I believe to be a pressurised system.
The confusion comes in that when the heating is turned off two of the downstairs radiators still get very hot when the water is heating. The get so warm they heat the whole of the downstairs and in summer this is no fun!
These two radiators don't have thermostatic controls on them whereas all the others in the house do and I am led to believe this is correct, but should they get that hot when the water is being heated and the heating tunred off and the thermostat on low?
