Connecting 68mm Downpipe to Cast Iron Pipe

Post by smeet » Wed Sep 26, 2018 2:21 am

Got a vertical cast iron iron pipe cemented into the ground to drain guttering into, which is 60mm internal diameter.

68mm downpipe reaches this, but struggling to find anything on the market to connect 68mm plastic down into it.

I know I could use a collar of some kind with round clips, but looking for a more elegant solution (ie a 68mm internal, reducing to something that fits into the fixed cast iron). Found a 68mm to 50mm reducer, but it requires a connector anyway, as it's not a collar to 68mm but actually 68mm pipe to 50mm internal, so the internal diameter of the reduced part is about 40, not ideal.

Anyone come across this before and got any interesting solutions?
