connecting new electric oven

Post by pjs » Sat Oct 13, 2007 11:05 am

i have got a new neff double oven 1422 and am siting it away from previous position(leaving gas hob in situ). Can I extend cable via existing 45amp wall connection unit (switched) which seems OK to do and if so can you tell me where on the new appliance i connect as there is no obvious connection point. Do i need to remove a backplate?

Hi extending from wall outlet seems ok if not making oven too far from control sw. as isolation in a hurry needs to be obvious.
Removeable back cover for sure but makers are getting better & better at hiding them!!!
