Conservatory air Vent Covered After Recent Plastering

Postby samtcb » Thu May 16, 2019 7:01 pm

Hello,

I'd appreciate a quick bit of advice, please.

I had a conservatory built and the builder raised the air vent to accommodate the conservatory floor, which was on the external wall (now the inside of the conservatory.

The problem is, we have since had the conservatory plastered thus covering the air vent! Should I fit an air vent into the plasterboard? i.e. locate (roughly where the vent brick is and cut a hole in the plasterboard and cover the hole with a vent?

Old house with wooden floors in the living room, Raised on timber beams resting on bricks. There are gaps in the flooorboards and its proper drafty so I don't feel like there is an airflow problem, But....

As I say, I'd appreciate some advice.

thank you
