Crack in external wall above bedroom window

Hi we have just discovered a crack in the external wall above my daughters bedroom window which is leaking inside. Any advice welcome. TIA

Get a builder in but use one through a personal recommendation.

Thanks was thinking that. We’ve just had an extension built below it…..could this have moved/caused it? Don’t want to get builder back…..didn’t end on friendly terms in the end. Extension finished in July.

Hi medwards,
Could be the extension but the advice is still the same - get a “professional” in. If the extension had BR approval you could ask the BI to visit and give advice.

Thank you. Yes just needs looking at doesn’t it. My hubby has sealed it and fingers crossed up to now it hasn’t leaked but only temporary fix. Thanks again for replying.
