My daughters toilet pan is sited on top of floor tiles and I need to cut around the pan to allow a vinyl floor to be laid. Does have anyone have any ideas as to the best way to do this? I did think about drilling a series of holes around the pan and gently lift the tile using a small bolster chisel hoping that the tiles will break through the holes. I do not want to remove the pan because there is a history of the soil pipe being difficult to make water tight.
