Damp Causing Rotting Wooden Fence?

by Kmh2020 » Fri Apr 03, 2020 11:12 pm

Hi there,

Weve been in our hose for nearly 2 years now and our neighbours over the fence have been doing up there garden.. when i went out to cut the grass late afternoon the ground is wet next to the fence and the fence is damp... is it rude to ask them to move it so my fence doesnt rot ?

Hi kmh2020,
If you are saying that your neighbours have piled soil against your fence then yes you could ask them to dig it away. If however there is a difference in land levels which has always been there your fence should have been installed to take account of this.
Regards S.
