damp on bedroom wall adj. chimney

Neglected to mention also some frost damage to a few bricks on the upper courses which have been repaired.

A somewhat cryptic blog?
Do you have cavity walls?
Do you have cavity wall insulation?
Is the bedroom upstairs?
Is the chimney used?
Whats outside?
How exposed is the wall?
Is the bedroom used, is it heated 24/7?
Is the room warm or cold?
Is it near the bathroom?
Do you have an extractor fan in the bathroom, do you use it?
Do you leave the doors open?
