I have rising damp all along the internal wall and on Monday the damp proofing 'specialist' came to inject damp proof course into the wall. On Wednesday the owner of the house next door contacted me to tell me that the contractor had drilled right through the wall and come out the other side. Not on one hole, all of them!! He has been back around to the neighbours to plaster over the holes but hasn't even told me he did it! I have the plasterer booked for next week but now worried that the damp proof coursing did not work, it seems to me that the gel would have just leaked out the other side when injected? Any advice on this would be very welcome! No surprisingly, the contractor has not returned any of my calls to answer this question.
