How late in the year is in feasible to paint outdoor surfaces (eg window frames) :?: [color=red][/color]

outside painting

Hi Les

You can paint outside anytime as long as:

1) The temperature does not drop below 5 degrees C (including drying times)

2) The relative humidity (important) does not go above 80%

3) The wood (substrate) is dry

and you are not expecting frost. it kills wet paint and will never dry if frozen whilst wet. and it's an awful job to remove it.
