decorators caulk edging wallpaper

Post by Arbies » Mon Mar 24, 2008 10:02 am

hi, we had someone in to wallpaper a wall and he used decorators caulk (looks like sealant) to neaten the edges. (doesn't look v. professional but it's done now!)

I have to remove and refit the mantelpiece which has been outlined with the decorators caulk. How do I remove the caulk without damaging the paper because I am not ready to re-paper the wall!

Thanks for reading!

Very carefully and with a very sharp blade.

Cheers
