DIFFERENT SIZED SAME BTU RADIATORS

by bill2369 » Sun Mar 29, 2009 6:28 pm

Hello fellow DIYers and those helpful professionals. Apart from the size difference (and any piping alterations that may be required), are there any advantages/disadvantages to fitting for example a K1 single convector rad or a K2 double convector rad or even A P+ rad all of the same BTU output? In my particular case I need to supply about 12000 BTU with 3 rads.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The differences between the types of rad are purely cosmetic or simply to cater for different room sizes.
