I have changed 2 ceiling lights, they both have independant switches on the same box.

After wiring them as per manufacturers recommendation. I have both lights working but only operating off one switch, both lights seem dimmer than they should be.

Obviously the wiring is not quite right, can anyone help.

I will guess switch wire and neutral mixed up. (Black or Blue) The switch wire should have red or brown tape or sleeve on it and goes to brown on lamp the others go together and go to blue on lamp. The Red or Brown fixed wires do not go to lamp.
