Dimmer switch prob'

Post by keithh » Mon Jun 23, 2008 11:51 am

Hi all, I have just wired a two way dimmer switch to a one way light switch. It works but when the dimmer is clicked to 'off', the three branch light fitting remains 'on' with the bulbs glowing very faintly. Have I made some king of error or is it simply a faulty switch?
Thanks

KEITHH

have you wired the live of your switch wire to common terminal
of dimmer , ( permanent live in ) , and switch wire to L1 .
IF DIFFERENT have you connected permanent live and switchwire
to follow manufactuers instructions ?
