Hi,as the gas is now covered by corgi i am wondering if its a similar situation with oil?I am in a rural area no mains gas just electric but i'm looking at fitting a complete oil combi heating system. Are there any rules/regulations stating i cant do it?does it have to be fitted by an oftec technician?cheers

You should be using a OFTEC Registered installer.

The same as only CORGI registered installers should work on gas appliances/installations. Only OFTEC registered technicians are the only people in England and Wales defined as competent to be working on oil installations.
