Double Glazing Regs and Poor Quality Windows on on Newly Built Property

by buster bob » Sat Feb 11, 2017 12:10 pm

Hi, just bought a brand new property and the double glazed windows and doors are very poorly made.
The mitred beads internaly don't fit, some really bad drafts and in reality it appears the products have beem made from off cuts.
Is there regulations governing this item as i believe that they do not have to be fitted or made by Fensa trade.

Unfortunately it will be a long process to find anyone to fix your problem, But you can start with building control at your local council, then NHBC then the Building developer who built the house, who will then contact the sub contractor who fitted the windows
