DRAINING RADIATORES

HAVING DRAINED RADIATORS UPSTSAIRS WITH NO PROBLEMS AND FITTED NEW VALVES CAME DOWN TO DO LIVING RADIATORS ONLY TO FIND THERE HAD NOT DRAINED . CAN ANY ONE PLEASE GIVE ADVISE TO WHY THIS IS AND GIVE ADIVSE ON HOW TO DRAIN DOWN STAIRS RADIATORS CHEERS

It depends on where the pipes feeding the radiators come from. If they come up from the floor - you need to drain below the floor. If the pipes drop down from upstairs, and there's no drain points then you need to turn radiator valves off and remove the radiator to drain.
