Dripping kitchen tap but can't find way in to change washer

Post by Mosssiman » Sun Sep 27, 2015 5:14 pm

Simple problem but I am getting nowhere fast. Kitchen mixer tap is dripping. I know it's the hot as it stopped when I isolated the supply. But I don't know the way in to change the washer - no sign of any screws. I can unscrew the handle but that doesn't show any way in from there.

Hi

Unfortunately I am not very familiar with taps of this type. Occasionally the cover for each of the outlets is screwed down on to the main mixer body so it may be worth seeing if tis is the case?

Although we do not have any project pages on your exact type of tap, it may be worth checking out the project pages we have on taps as this may give you a little more insight: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/diy-how-to- ... -valve.htm, particularly our project on mixer taps: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects/re ... er_tap.htm

Apologies I can’t be of more help
