"Dripping" noise after using hot water - Advices?

by sim6827 » Sun Jun 10, 2007 11:39 pm

Hi,

After using hot water I have noticed a "dripping" type noise coming from above the ceiling in my bedroom.

There are no visible patches of moisture.

Is this just the pipes contracting/expanding? The feed tank for my indirect system is directly above the bedroom.

Regards

Its possible for it just to be expansion when hot water flows through the pipes, if there's no signs of a leak this is probably the case especially if its only after running the hot tap, as if it was leaking ats more than likely to leak all of time.
