Earthing pipes

by rinkydinkydooodaa » Mon Mar 31, 2008 3:19 pm

I need further help regarding earthing bathroom pipes.I ripped out my steel bath and sink. The bath hot & cold pipes were earthed so I just reconnected them to the now stand alone pipes, the same with the basin. I will be putting in a acrylic bath soon and was wondering if I could put the earth wires that are on the pipes under the floor boards so as not to show them ?
Cheers

701.415.2 Supplementary equipotential bonding may be installed outside or inside rooms containing a bath or shower, preferably close to the point of entry of extraneous-conductive-parts into such rooms.
So answer seems to be yes.
