I have a plain ordinary domestic Horstmann economy 7 quartz timer for our hot water. Everything works fine. No probs - except ... every few weeks, I find it has skipped exactly 1 hour or 1/2 hour FAST for absolutely no reason I can fathom. Nobody else is interfering with it, I don't have Alzheimers, it's nothing to do with power cuts, no pets can reach it etc. etc. etc, We have had it for about 18 months now and it has always done this. It's driving me nuts and I'm wondering whether I have entered the twilight zone or something. I could understand it getting slow - lots of reasons for that - but why FAST ???????
