by JohnnyV » Mon Sep 07, 2009 7:16 pm

Hi,
I have just replaced my electric swower isolator switch (pull cord type)
but the red light is remaining on constantly wether the switch is on or off. It is actually working ok but I must have a wire wrong somewhere. I connected it with 2 live, 2 neutral and 2 earths all in seperate connectors. what am I doing wrong ? :(

there is an in and an out. the in coming from the fuse board, the out going to the shower. you have them the wrong way.

You have got your in/out wiring crossed so light sees power with switch off or on
