by iaintuula » Wed Jul 16, 2008 12:36 am

when i pull the cord for the shower the light comes on so there is nothing wrong with the electric but when I switch the shower on no water comes out and the light for low water pressure comes on. The showers got shorter and shorter it's like we have ran out of water. The shower over the bath, the cold water comes out of the shower head but not the hot water....please help

It's exactly what the unit is telling you - low pressure.

Check filters and check for a build up of limescale in the shower. If the pressure is not sufficient the shower has a safety device which stops the unit heating the water.

Thanks for the information, I have removed the cover of electric shower and checked the water pipe as water isn't coming through. There is plenty of water coming out!! So does it mean that the electric shower might be faulty?? Pump in it??

Also, the boiler is not a combi. The shower over the bath does not work but when i switch the hot water on then the hot water through this shower works but then doesn't when hot water switched off again.........
