Electric U/Floor Heating Thermostats

by Brian Mylchreest » Tue Dec 08, 2009 7:00 pm

I have CALIDEC - GEC Manufacturers Part # 7512-1 MX52681 room thermostats.
These are now not working reliably.
The actual mechanism was apears to be of GEC manufacture.
Model # H06286C2 200-250v
Terms. 1 & 2, 20A 0.25A
Terms. 1 & 3, 10A 0.25A
The are only 3 wires used.
Red In, Heavier cable
Red Out, Lighter cable
Green Earth.
Are these units still available, if not what is a suitable replacement.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got thermostat from Tops Tiles. Typing "Under floor heating" on screwfix site it came up with thermostat complete with PDF instructions so you can check connections. The one I fitted did have neutral switched as well as Line and I expect most now do in interest of safety.
