Hi there, I am trying to find out what exterior wood filler would/is best for some external oak window frame repairs. The oak isn't stained so I am wanting to find a suitable/durable exterior filler that I can match as best as possible - I realise it isn't going to look the same I just want it to be as close as possible and preserve the window frame. The whole frame is probably going to have some coats of Deks Olje D1 afterwards. Many thanks for any help/advise on the best product. Jo
Hi jojow, Your proposed deks does not form a surface finish but is similar to a penetrating stain. This makes filling with paste products a waste of time so suggest you cut out defective timber and fit infil pieces in oak. Regards S
