Hi all, I need to replace the wooden panel that sits between my Dads bungalow and his neighbours. As it stands, it is a wooden frame made with 2" by 2" with shiplap cladding mounted and painted. It's 11 foot wide and about 7 foot high. Most of the frame has rotted as has the bottom half of the cladding. What type of wood is the best to use without being too expensive for the cladding please? Also, I'm having trouble finding cladding in lengths over 11 foot, (3.35m), any suggestions where I may locate some? I'm based in Cambridge but my dads place is in Birmingham. Any help appreciated, including any suggested alternatives. Thanks, Drew.
