I have a single storey flat with a floor mounted boiler, the f and e tank is heating up and a small drip comes from the vent pipe, I have cleaned and flushed the system and the pump is brand new, whilst cleaning and flushing the system, I had to replace a gate valve on the return from the hot water cylinder, in doing so drained the system, and no water came from the coil, so I assume it’s leak free, it only drips from the vent pipe when CH is selected, they are individual valves and are operating correctly, the only thing I can think of is the head of pressure is to low from the header tank? Or air in the system?
