Fill a Square Block in the Wall Where Sound System Speakers are Affixed

by dddecent » Wed Jun 11, 2014 7:45 pm

Evening all,

First post so hopefully in the right section.

In our lounge we have a Sound system where the speakers are affixed to the wall. In them are the speaker wires - the block is approximately 40mm x 40mm.

Should we electric tape the end of the speaker wires, place a wooden dowel block in then fill with filler?

Is this safe and will it work?

Thanks,

tape the wires up, overly fill the holes with carlite bonding, when its set scrape the material back to just below the finished surface, then to finish it use either polyfiler or finish plaster
