Hello all,
I'm about to attempt to clean a victorian pub floor. It's coated in about 100 years of gime and been hidden under carpet for decades. I've been advised to use Brick Acid and a wire brush just going over one tile at a time (should be done by 2009!) - is this right?
Cheers!

Brick acid might not be a good idea Westie, Its a bit extreme and could damage tiles which otherwise might turn out to be very nice. Wire brush can also do a lot of damage. Try very warm water with some fine wire wool as shown in our cleaning grout when hard project.
