Hi,

Hopefully quite a basic question but I cannot find the answer anywhere online - I need to fit a 1/2 inch male nipple to a 1/2 inch copper pipe (to fit new kitchen tap), but cannot get the pipe to fit.

Is there a trick to get this to work??

The nipple should just slide on the pipe - looks like the pipe is distorted i.e. no longer round. You could squeeze slightly with grips to make the pipe round again.

Thank you, I got some 40 grit sand paper to it and the nipple and made it work
