Fitting concealed hinges

Post by Balfour » Mon Aug 20, 2007 6:52 pm

Hi, I would like to fit 31mm MDF doors to a cabinet which is made of 25mm MDF
What size concealed hinges do I need to use, will they open 110 degrees + and what size should the hinge boring bit be?

The height of the doors will be 2m10 how many hinges would I need to support this?

Thanks in advance for the help

You can buy a kit for doing the hinges now, just do a search for it and you can get hinges easily to open past 110 degrees,as for how many--four will be fine at that height stick them at (this isnt critical) 125 or 150 to the centre top and bottom and then spread equally in between.
