Fitting Double Check Valve When Installing Outside Tap

Post by Gadget » Mon Jun 19, 2017 10:03 pm

Hi Guys,

When fitting an outside tap (HOT), I'm assuming you still need to fit a double check valve? - question is, will there be adequate pressure to open the valve?
I'm guessing this wouldn't be a problem for a pumped combi system? but what about a gravity fed system?

thanks in advance...

Hot top potable water will not be contaminated.
