Fitting Gas Cooker After Moving From one Property to Another

Post by Pompey47 » Wed Nov 25, 2020 7:21 pm

I am taking a gas cooker out of one property and moving it to another. Both properties have bayonet fittings and the flexi hose is still connected to the cooker - all I need to do is re-attach the bayonet fitting. In view of this do I still need to employ a gas safe fitter or can I just do this myself?

Hi pompey47
In this age of liability it would be best done by a gassafe person so they can check for leaks and certify.
