Hi there
Im fitting a new sink im removing old plastic sealant around kitchen top but behind taps the laminated part and part of wood has water damage can i put wood filler in and sand it down then put new plastic sealant on its adjacent with wall tiles.

yes, but use a decent sealant, I would use a transparent silicone
