Fitting Window Locks to Aluminium Frame Windows

Postby Munchy » Sat Dec 29, 2018 2:51 pm

I’m new here so not so certain if I’m posting in the right place.
I bought my first home earlier this year and one of our bedrooms has aluminum framed windows, it has a fire escape window in but but it does not have a lock on the window. It has a catch to put down to stop the window opening but it’s not physically locked.
And I need to fit a lockable one any advice one what type to go with or how to do this just I’m a little concerned of smashing the glass if I was to drill into the frame of the window.

Any help at all would be brilliant.

Thanks in advance.
