FIXING A CUPBOARD DOOR TO A WALL

by LINSLOCO » Mon Sep 03, 2007 12:37 pm

Hi, Help!
I am putting a cupboard around my boiler. It is in the corner of the room. Therefore I only want to build 1 side, the top and the front door. How do I attach the hinges on the front door to the wall at the side?

I'm not positive on what you mean here but you will HAVE to attach some wood to the wall first or hang it where there is some, the reason being that there has to be some clearance from the wall for the door to open.ie the need for a batten of some sort attached to the wall first. If you can give a bit more info Im sure someone will help.
