Fixing cladding...

by 3barrels » Tue May 05, 2009 3:50 pm

Afternoon all, am thinking about having a feature wall in my daughters bedroom, my wife has suggested wooden cladding which sounds pretty good. Have checked out a couple of diy stores, but not to sure what thickness to go for 14mm or 8mm. When fixing this shall i tack it or use glue? Any advice or tips would be very appreciated as i've got to get it right for my girl (well young women) Cheers...

Batten the wall and use "hidden" nailing.

Cheers
