Hello! We are renovating an old brick-built Victorian house and have had ThermoShell Internal Wall Insulation fitted.
We now wish to attach curtain poles but are unsure as to the best way to proceed. We are aware that we must try not to pierce the the vapor control layer.
Has anyone any expertise or previous experience of this?
A good work around for this would be to attach a piece of timber above the window using a strong construction adhesive. This can then be decorated to suit the style and look of the property.
You can then simply fix the the curtain pole to the timber without the need to drill any holes in the actual wall.
