Fixing scotia to bathroom tiles - which adhesive?

Postby mth » Sat Oct 24, 2020 5:30 pm

Hi all,

in my current bathroom, there is a gap between the vinyl planks of the floor and the wall tiles. I think the best compromise would be to put scotia against the wall to cover the gap. Unfortunately, the wall with the tiles doesn't run totally straight, but slightly wavy. I am worried that the scotia will be under tension from the small bends and hard to fix against the wall.

What kind of adhesive would be best to use?

Many thanks
mth

Hi mth
Fitting a moulding is not a good idea because the moulding will not stick to the tiles. If the gap is 5mm or less us a silicone mastic.
