Flashing advice needed after roof refelting

by rob_em » Tue Oct 20, 2020 5:25 am

Hi everybody. Just had the whole roof refelted. And also flashing changed on the joint of my and neighbours. My concern is that its just been installed under the facia and nailed in in few places. When asked the roofers shouldt it be flushed in the wall the said there is no need as it goes deep u der facia and then protected from the top by dry verge caps. Please give me your opinions. Many thanks.

Hi rob_em
It looks like the facia does not go under the verge tiles so there is the possibility of water running down the tile face and behind the facia. This is only an issue if the verge is on an exposed face.
