Flashing & soakers

by greengrass » Sat Mar 31, 2007 6:31 pm

Am posting again as I can't see my previous one.

Soakers on Interlocking tiles have to be laid over the top of the tile and a book I've borrowed shows the soaker in one length covering several tiles and dressed into the tiles profile.

Q: Rather than using one long length of lead, is there any reason why each "over tile soaker" can't be laid to the length of each tile + 25mm overlap to the top with the top 25mm snipped on the upstand crease to form a straight hook over the tile to secure the soaker?

Many thanks Greengrass.

I think you posted this before reading the answer to your last post Greengrass. Hope we answered it fully there, if not please come back. Doc
