Flat Roof Cause of Misted Double Glazing?

by hatgone » Fri Sep 23, 2016 6:43 pm

A number of panes have misted up, and one section of a georgian bay that I had replaced a couple of years ago is as bad as it was.
Generally the affected windows are the porch, window bay and an extension, all of which have flat roofs above. After rain we can see water collected.

Before I consider having repairs done, do you think that ingress from the water on the roofs over the affected windows could be the reason for the misting?

What other advice would you give me?

flat roofs wont cause the glass units to mist up. Water would be visible on the floor and running down the frames.
The units have failed and can be replaced
