Frost damage

by alexander » Sun Dec 19, 2010 2:29 pm

I have a radiator in my conservatory which is not used in the winter and is isolated using the MTV valve, is this advisable in this severe weather shutting off part of the system.

The radiator must not be allowed to freeze.

The easiest way to prevent this is to leave the thermostat valve in the frost position which will allow a small flow of hot water.
