Gainsborough 8.5 E Electric Shower

by Mr.Punch » Thu Jun 03, 2010 10:55 am

Shower unit has been working well since installing it 4 years ago, it is not a power shower.
Without warning the water output pressure has dropped to about 25%, as far as I know it is fixed to a mains input and water pressure to washing machine, taps etc are all normal - my WC cistern refill slowed similarly 6 weeks ago and still refills very slowly, but this may be a red herring.
Any suggestions/help would be great thanks.

The logical explanation is the incoming water filter is blocked.

Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly how you access it. Or indeed if it has one!

It is possible it is in the incoming feed just after the connection to the copper pipe. You may have to remove the shower from the wall to gain access. Best look or download the handbook.
